FIBCs are one of the most cost effective and ideal types of packaging for shipping and storing dry bulk products. They can be produced from either tubular or flat Polypropylene (PP) woven fabrics. These fabrics can be both coated and uncoated and vary in different weights depending on the requirements of the Safe Working Load (SWL) or Safety Factor (SF).

4 Loop FIBC - Standard Bag

An FIBC can be as simple as an open top with a flat base used commonly within the building industry or as a high tech unit produced within a clean room production environment to be used within the food/pharmaceutical industries. Most importantly, each FIBC is manufactured to meet a customer's specific requirement.

The Q-bag design is constructed utilizing inner baffles which help maintain the cubic form once the FIBC has been filled. These baffles are manufactured specifically to allow the material to flow into the corners of the bag. Within this design mechanism and because of the cubic shape of the bag, the Q-bag requires less storage space and can reduce transportation costs up to 30% in comparison with a standard big bag.

Gambo-Bags are also used for the same purpose. These bags are constructed slightly different to the Q-bag. The cubic shape of the Gambo unit is formed with an inner layer of material that cannot be observed when looking at the FIBC. The Gambo design has two main advantages. Gambo-Bags have a higher performance for very fine grist and a better and higher stability.
The Gambo design is patented by Gambo B.V. and our turkish partner is an authorized licensee.

4 Loop FIBC - Ventilated Bag

Potato bags are produced out of ventilated Polypropylene (PP) woven fabrics. These fabrics are specially designed to permit the required air flow through the fabric into the bag. A duffel or flap is often used as a top closure and a bottom spout is utilized as a discharge facility. For potato seeds, PP netting is used on two side panels to allow greater air permeability.

Potato suppliers have found great advantages using FIBCs for handling, storing and transporting their products as opposed to the antiquated 25/50kgs woven sacks or potato boxes. These variation of FIBCs is commonly used in Egypt, Israel and in many European and Scandinavian countries.

One and two loop FIBCs are less complicated and more economical in comparison with the four loop FIBCs. They are produced from tubular body fabrics to obtain a higher breaking strength and breaking load within the fabric.

The top lifting points are wrapped with sleeves which can be manufactured in different colors for ease of product identification. Colored sleeves also make the lifting points highly visible for truck operators enabling easy handling of the bags by either a hook or a fork.

The most commonly used design is normally uncoated with an open top and a PE liner inserted, although coated designs are also available with spouted tops. Base designs vary greatly depending on the application; these include square, star or a single seam. Discharge spouts can also be applied but this is specifically for the square base design only. For a manual filling application bags are press bailed and packed on pallets. However, bags can also be wound on rolls to be used on automatic filling stations if required.

4 Loop FIBC - Bag Type "B"

Technopac presents a PE lined Type B FIBC certified to the latest IEC standards. .

In line with ever changing industrial requirements, Cesur has engineered a new type of PE inner liner which enables the complete FIBC to work safely in zones where Type B accredibility is mandatory.

This new concept of construction, helps very fine powders to be filled, stored and discharged safely without having any static issues.

Technopac has aquired a valid safety certificate from an independent testing authority.

We would be happy to give you further information on your request.

4 Loop FIBC - Conductive Bag Type "C"

Some bulk materials can create static energy during filling and discharging which may cause an electrostatic discharge in the bag or on its surface. If there is a flammable dust or gas present within the atmosphere during the filling and discharging process, there is a risk of fire or explosion.

To prevent this hazard, a groundable FIBC is the ideal solution. Groundable FIBCs are also classed as Type C bags. The conductivity of these units is usually provided by carbon tapes which are woven into the fabric and the webbing. Silver tapes are used instead of carbon for food applications.

The body construction of the FIBC can be produced out of a flat or circular fabric either coated or uncoated. Conductive liners are also available for use if waterproof applications are required. Type C FIBC’s must be grounded during the filling and discharging process and every groundable bag is 100% checked and labeled accordingly for its conductivity.

4 Loop FIBC - Dissipative Bag Type "D"

CROHMIQ® fabric is a patented woven Polypropylene static protective Type D fabric used in the manufacture of ungrounded bulk bags or FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) for use in flammable gas, vapor and dust atmospheres. FIBC constructed of CROHMIQ fabric provide static protection by dissipating the static charge build-up on the FIBC and by limiting the energy of discharges to prevent an ignition of the flammable environment.

CROHMIQ static protective FIBC are used by Fortune 500 companies and others in a wide range of applications where flammable gas or vapor such as ethylene, toluene or methane or flammable dust such as corn starch, resins, and fertilizers are present.

CROHMIQ FIBC have an outstanding safety record with over 12 million FIBC used to safely transport 25 billion pounds of chemicals since 1995.
