Dear Customer and Partner,
Marisa is 16 years old and lives in Carinthia/Austria. Since early childhood she has developed strong autism. Through the related perceptual disorders Marisa is often subject to sensory overload, which in her case leads to strong epileptic seizures.
The presence of a specially trained assistant dog offers the girl new development opportunities and Marisa will bond with the puppy " Bjarmi " and become a close knit team.
The dog allows her greater independence and will learn to accompany Marisa safely on the roads, to lead her back home if she loses orientation, realize upcoming bouts and raise a night alarm if there are breathing difficulties.
And of course Bjarmi gives the girl emotional security and new vitality!
Also this year Technopac Austria has decided not to give any commercial Christmas presents in favor of making a financial contribution in your name via „Stiftung Kindertraum“ to enable Marisa to fulfil her lifelong dream.
